Dearest, Gentle Reader,

The social season is upon us and the flowers will be in bloom. This Author finds themselves compelled to share the most exciting invitation with you, the ‘ton. 

It is my honour to impart to you that this Author has been reliably informed that Tranquil Ashes, Our Queen Charlotte for this most auspicious occasion is inviting you to High Tea at Loyola University Hug Lounge and Refectory. 

Please do join us on the 25th of April in the year of our Queen, two-thousand and twenty six. It promises to be the most splendid social gathering of the season. So dust off those gowns and book an appointment with the modiste if you must, for the best dressed will receive a special gift from the Queen. There will be tea of course, accompanied by lite fare with music, dancing, games upon the lawn, a stroll through the gardens and a parting gift. 

There will be two designated High Tea Times with activities on the lawn for those not currently attending either time slot: 

Lady Danbury’s Tea Time: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM 

Lady Bridgerton’s Tea Time: 3:00 - 5:00 PM

*Please note* THE EVENT IS FROM 12:00 to 5PM ( the tea times are designated for who you’d like to do the tea time activities with when meeting the Queen. Their specialty food items depends on which timeslot you pick. (So check out the menu!). So please arrive at 12PM for a full day of events no matter which tea slot you choose.

During tea with her majesty, you will be tested on your knowledge of the most scandalous and maybe some of the more salacious events of the past 4 social seasons. Do not disappoint her majesty by using any of your handheld light boxes, and one lucky person or group will win the Queen’s favor and be bestowed the illustrious Golden Bee Award!

With that in mind, please do arrive at twelve o’clock in the afternoon upon the grounds for a most elevated experience. But fear not dear reader, should there be another scandal at this lavish occasion, I shall uncover it.
